Constructors & Co. is a construction company that has managed to establish itself in the market over the generations and has also been able to diversify. For three generations the company has been successful over the years. But in the transition from the third to the fourth generation, the company has been stagnant, without the ability to generate profits and without a clear succession plan for the leader.
The shareholding of the company Constructors & Co. is divided into five parts: five family branches and with 20% for each family branch.
In addition, the current leader of the family and the company is ill and knows that the disease is terminal. At that moment two concerns come together: the situation of the family business having poor results for three years and the succession in the family and business leadership. Since he can't solve the first one, he focuses on the second one by looking for a way to find a successor who is capable, has training, and the ability to assume business leadership.
In this search Albert, after consulting with his shareholder brothers and receiving their support, decided to visit his son James to propose that he be his successor as president.
